Diana Popescu

Diana Popescu is a writer and journalist with over two decades of experience in cultural media. She worked at the daily newspapers Adevărul and Gândul, and for 7 years was the producer of the DIGICULT programme on Digi24 television.

She has conducted interviews with hundreds of cultural figures: Nobel-nominated and laureate writers, Hollywood stars, musicians, architects, and celebrated visual artists.

She became the host of the cultural podcast Cronicari Digitali when it launched in 2020, the same year she released a children’s book: Aventurile Lunei în lumea cuvintelor sucite.

She runs a regular cultural recommendations segment on the VORBITORINCII podcast and contributes to various specialist publications.

Passionate about gastronomy and travel, she co-hosts PORȚII MICI — a shortcast about food, culture, and indulgence — with her husband, journalist and TV producer Dragoș Vasile.

In 2024 she published Viața are abonament pe toate liniile, a collection of urban snapshots, encounters, and people met on Bucharest’s public transport.

Dumitru Gorzo is an ultra-contemporary Romanian visual artist — painter, graphic artist, and sculptor. Many of his works allude to the political life and events experienced by Romanian society. Gorzo has declared himself opposed to isolation from real life through art.
