THE THERAPIST'S SELF

Ovidiu Gavrilovici

In an unusual format — a blend of Class and seminar — participants are introduced to a living process of reflection on the therapist’s self, as it forms and transforms over time.

Drawing on his own experience, Ovidiu Gavrilovici opens a conversation about what remains unseen behind the practice: vulnerabilities, limits, defence mechanisms, and the resources that sustain authentic encounters with the other. What do we bring from our own history into the consulting room? Where do the personal and professional self meet? And how can we remain present without losing ourselves in the relationship?

A dialogue about beginnings and growth, about the subtle dangers of the profession, and about the ways in which the therapist’s self can remain a living, conscious, and ever-evolving instrument.
